Patriot Services, Inc. is a complex narrative involving international politics, cyber warfare, and personal drama. It introduces a wide array of characters from different countries, including America, Norway, Russia, and Ukraine. The story delves into the difficult and often complex themes of democracy, covert U.S. intelligence operations, geopolitical conflict and the human impact of these larger forces, as well as the personal struggles of many various characters, including a Marine Corps veteran turned terrorist and a Norwegian princess who goes missing.
The Viking is a novel about a covert group called Patriot Services, Inc., led by the CIA Director Robert Sutherland. The group works to remove or potentially assassinate the sitting President, John Rider. The story delves into the past of the main character, Bjorn Halvorson, also known as the Viking, who is a Norwegian independent contractor that is working on behalf of the CIA Director. There is plenty of political intrigue, as well as difficult moral dilemmas, and relationship struggles of those individuals who are involved in the dangerous operation to remove the President.
Thirty Days In June is a very fast paced political thriller centered around international tensions between Russia and the West. Russia attacks a Norwegian natural gas facility in order to manipulate the energy market, before attacking Europe. America remains neutral even as malign cyber activities interfere with its politics. The story follows intense personal narratives of loss and horrible tragedy, complex emotional relationships, corruption, and murder, all set within the context of high-stakes global political maneuvering and the very real threat of global war.

Growing up in rural South Carolina, Jay Vermillion had always dreamed of writing a novel. It was a quiet ambition that steadily grew throughout his childhood. After graduating high school, instead of continuing his education as many of his peers had, Jay chose a different path. He joined the United States Marine Corps. This chosen path of service and discipline would greatly influence his ambition to write. However, with his time occupied by long overseas deployments and grueling combat tours, he decided that the manuscripts of his imagination would have to be temporarily shelved.
Eventually, Jay transitioned out of the military and began the complex process of building a new life. This era was defined by the beautiful chaos of marriage, the profound responsibilities of parenthood, and the shifting landscape of various career choices. As the years turned into decades, the dream of writing once again faded into the distant background, obscured by the practicalities of daily existence.
